Big Bang Theory Explained. How Universe Formed? - Rapid Info

How the Universe formed and how billions of stars formed? Who created them? There are many theories and explanations to these questions. But the most popular theory to explain this was the Big Bang Theory. There is little evidence showing that the universe was created by the Big bang. What is Big Bang Theory? What is the cause behind the birth and evolution of the universe? Let us see more information about all the mysteries and many fascinating facts.

Big Bang

BIG BANG THEORY:

Before 1,38,200,00,000 years there was nothing. There are no humans, earth, stars, galaxies, space, time, light and physics formulas. Intact blank. Then commenced the big bang a small particle which is smaller than an atom created and even science can't tell an answer for how that small particle created from nothing. It has extreme energy and trillion degrees of temperature. This theory can tell an answer for what happened after the big bang but have no answer for what happened before the big bang. This smaller drop which is smaller than an atom contains the energy to create all these galaxies, stars, nebulas..etc. Then this small particle started increasing its size to all sides and this is called Big Bang. Many people will think that a big bang means a big blast but it is not true. It just started increasing its size. After this big bang, space, time and physics formulas created. As there is no time before the big bang, few scientists are telling that "what happened before the big bang" is a meaningless question. It started expanding in more than the speed of the light( light speed = 3,00,000km/sec ).

There is no matter in that expanding universe. There is only pure energy in it. According to einstein matter can convert into energy and energy can convert into the matter. For example, in a bomb blast matter was converted to energy. So here, energy was converted to matter.

The energy released from the big bang created matter and antimatter which is completely the opposite of matter. When these both matter and antimatter particles collide they will again convert into energy. So there is no chance of creating these galaxies and stars if they collide like this. So matter and antimatter particles must not be the same in number. Fortunately, for every 1,00,00,00,000 antimatter particles it created 1,00,00,00,001 matter particles. So, all the remaining matter particles formed as galaxies, planets, stars, asteroids,..etc. It was really incredible. An interesting thing was all these processes took only 1/10,00,000 of a second. Now you can imagine how fast this universe evolved. In this small time, our universe expanded its size from smaller than an atom to 60 billion miles with 18 trillion degrees of Fahrenheit. As it keeps on increasing the temperature of it decreasing.

Proton, Neutron and electron from the remaining matter created the lightest elements like hydrogen and helium atoms for the first time. At that time the entire universe is filled with the smoke of hydrogen and helium. It took 300,000 years for the universe to come to this stage and the diameter of this universe is 100 million lightyears with 4900° F. Now these cloudy hydrogen and helium gases came into a place and due to the gravitational force created there and then created stars. Now, H and He in the middle of the stars undergo nuclear fission and then created some more elements of the periodic table like oxygen, carbon and magnesium,, etc. But the elements like Zinc, Chromium, Platinum, Uranium, etc are not created which are necessary for the birth of planets and life on them. The power of stars is not enough to make these elements. At that time all these stars blasted and this is called a supernova explosion. Now because of the energy released when these stars blasted all the elements in the periodic table are formed. Because of this very large exploitation, all these elements got spread into the universe. Also, the iron in our blood, calcium in our bones and the oxygen that we are breathing came from the supernova.

At this stage, the age of the universe is 900 billion years and the diameter of the universe is 3 trillion light-years with -452° F. All the dust and gas from the supernova came to a place and started rotating which are called galaxies. Many stars also created in galaxies. There created billions of stars in a galaxy. The galaxy which we are living in is called Milkyway Galaxy. In our galaxy, many stars are in the size of our sun or more than that and nearly 3,00,00,00,00,000 stars. There are nearly 2,00,00,00,00,000 galaxies in the universe. Now, you can imagine your size in this universe.

WHY ONLY BIG BANG?

There are a few reasons that why only this big bang theory became very popular. In the year 1920, a scientist named Edwin Hubble observed that all galaxies are moving away from one other while he is viewing in a telescope and he thought that it means, in the beginning, all the galaxies are at one place and started expanding. In the year 1964, two scientists named Robert Wilson and Arno Penzias discovered Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation or CMB. it means that the powerful light which is released during the big bang also expanded with space and due to a change in its wavelength it changed its form from visible light to microwaves and infrared waves and still they are travelling this universe. They found that the waves they found are created during the big bang. They both awarded the noble prize for this.

We can also notice the microwaves of the big bang. If we take old televisions and while changing channel there will be a different sound with a dotted screen. These are waves coming from local radio stations but, 1% of its noise is from the micro and radio waves released during when big bang. WMAP of NASA and some other space crafts always receive the radio and microwaves in the universe. These waves come from some galaxies and stars but few come from the light released during the big bang. From these waves, scientists found that this universe is 1,38,200,00,000 years old.
