1) StarLink:

At present we are using the internet through cables which is very very expensive. We are arranging cables through seas for billions of cost and providing internet to different countries. Even after when cables reached the country, internet providers will only provide cables to cities and towns. Companies will not show interest to provide internet to villages and it also costs more. But cities will give them a lot of profits. Also in mountain areas population is less and it also takes more cost to provide internet to mountain areas. So, by seeing their profits internet companies mostly will not supply internet to mountain areas and villages. To overcome this problem Elon Musk started Starlink. The company will provide internet through satellites rather than cables. So, users will receive internet through satellites and as there are no cables easily people from any area can receive internet through satellites. The process of this project would be like sending satellites through rockets and keeping satellites at a distance of 550 km from earth. Each satellite will cover a radius of 1000km of earth. Signals from the satellite will be received by the antenna at the top of the house. This antenna will nearly look like a DTH antenna. Through cables, the internet will be received by a router from an antenna and users can use the internet. 1500 Starlink satellites are launched till now and 12,000 satellites are necessary to cover the entire world. It will take more than 10 years i.e, by 2030 we can use Starlink internet. Starlink satellite service is now available in few countries. This concept of providing internet through satellites is not started by Starlink. Few companies before tried this, but launching rockets are very expensive those days. But as Elon Musk has Space X, he can launch rockets easily. At present we can get 150 Mbps internet speed through Starlink and according to Elon Musk, this speed will increase in future.

2) SolarCity:

At present mostly electricity is generated through coal. This will produce a lot of pollution. So, Elon Musk wants to reduce this pollution by generating electricity through solar power. According to Elon Musk in future, generating electricity with solar power will cost less rather than generating with coal. And he wants to produce electricity at a low cost using solar power. Elon Musk purchased SolarCity from his two cousins in 2016. Actually, Elon Musk gave the suggestion to his cousins to start SolarCity. But as the company is running in losses, Elon Musk bought SolarCity in 2016. SolarCity mainly works on two concepts:

1) Solar Leasing: Normally to arrange solar panels at top of houses we need to buy solar panels. But SolarCity will do an agreement with the house owner who wants solar panels for their house and according to the agreement SolarCity will install solar panels without charging any cost. But, the house owner should buy the electricity generated through solar panels and this is the agreement. Most of the house owners will agree to this agreement because this current bill from solar panels is less than the normal current bill. This is the Solar Leasing concept. 

2) Tesla Powerwall: Through SolarCity, they also started another concept named Tesla Powerwall. Powerwall is a battery that stores electricity. Powerwall can store a lot of electricity. This can supply electricity for a house for a day if it is completely charged. We can only supply electricity through solar panels during the day. But, if we store the energy from the solar panels in Powerwall we can even use that electricity at night. We can use high capacity batteries rather than fuel generators in commercial buildings. We can even use electricity during natural disasters with power wall batteries. Elon Musk also constructed a very big Powerwall battery in Australia.

3) Neuralink:

Elon Musk and 8 others started Neuralink Corporation in 2016. With this technology, he wants to overcome diseases related to veins and to control mobiles and computer using our brain. For this, he recruited few popular neuroscientists from different universities. They all are developing new technology. With this technology, a small chip is arranged in our brain through surgery. With the help of that chip, we can make organs work again which caused due to brain-related diseases like paralysis and spinal cord injuries. We can also control mobile phones and computer without using our hand. At present this technology is at the development stage. This test was also going on animals. Recently this technology is also tested with a monkey. Chip was arranged in a monkeys brain. That monkey will play a game with a computer and it will get a food item through a pipe when it plays the game correctly. In the beginning, they gave training to that monkey to play with a joystick. Later they removed the connection to the joystick and even the monkey played the game correctly as it thinks what to move next in its brain. According to Elon Musk, it will take few more years to develop this technology completely.

4) The Boring Company:

There will be mainly traffic problem while travelling in vehicles and most of the time will get waste due to traffic. To solve this problem Elon Musk Thought of a new concept of travelling vehicles through tunnels. With this concept, tunnels are constructed underground of cities and roads of cities are connected to these tunnels. There will be lifting machines that will take the vehicles to underground tunnels and when the vehicle is parked on the lifting machine it will take the vehicle to the underground and now a machine will take the vehicles to its destination. After reaching the destination lifting machine will bring the vehicle up. They also tested this and they choose a destination and a car is started from the normal road and a car is started from the tunnel. It took the car on normal road 4 min 44 seconds whereas it took 1 min 36 sec to the car travelling in a tunnel. Normally it is very expensive to construct tunnels underground but Elon Musk able to construct them at a low cost. Elon Musk became a very successful man by thinking about the future.
